This cookie tastes like tears

I have been known to eat my feelings.  So, now, I am hyper-aware of this.  And I will ask myself, “Are you hungry, or do you want to eat your feelings?”  If I get upset, I will say, “I want to eat my feelings!”  That is as real as I can get.  Sometimes I scream it.  ”I’M ANGRY AND I WANT TO EAT MY FEELINGS!”

I acknowledge that I am an emotional eater.

I pledge to use food only as fuel for my body and NOT as a cure-all pill for bad feelings.
